Our team brings over 150 years of experience in education to the table to provide schools a suite of services designed to improve student academic achievement.
Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic people to join the CAMP team to serve Birmingham City Schools. The ACT Instructor delivers engaging, effective, and student-centered instruction to help high school students improve ACT scores. Instructors follow CAMP-provided curriculum and resources, adapt lessons for diverse learners, and help build a positive, college-focused culture. This role requires strong ACT content knowledge, classroom management skills, and the ability to motivate students toward postsecondary success.

Compensation & Pay Scale
CAMP offers competitive pay rates based on instructor experience, qualifications, and program type or location.
Tier 1 – College Student Instructor
Tier 2 – Experienced Educator
Tier 3 – Master Instructor / Lead

90-Day Introductory/Probationary Period:
All newly hired CAMP employees will complete a 90-day introductory probationary period. During this period, the employee’s performance, attendance, reliability, professionalism, ability to collaborate, adherence to CAMP policies and procedures, and overall alignment with the expectations of the position will be evaluated. A formal evaluation will be conducted during or at the conclusion of the 90-day period to determine continued employment.
